Mustering for Agincourt, 20th - 21st June 2015

Arundel Castle

Despite low visitor numbers on the Saturday, and rather overcast weather, Sunday certainly proved to be an out standing day in all respects. It's always great to try out new things at an event so a double row of archers, shooting enmasse and by volley proved to be excellent addition to the event format...as the knights said there was very little they could do as it was relentless deluge of arrows! Some outstanding shooting by the archers, well done all, and thanks to Captains Richard and Ian for coordinating some outsatnding archrey displays. Audience support, particually on the Sunday afternoon was great, and the amount of people that came up afterwards and said how much they had enjoyed the event, all that they had seen, and how much they had found out by talking to people was the most I have seen in a long time. Well done all.

Encampment really looked great and the bunting, and additional flags really added more coulour and depth...thanks to Mistress Jane (and the entire House Clan) for all the hard work and sewing.

Special thanks as always to Mistress Morag for another excellent spread of food; some really impressive flying by Hawking About (even the hoard of seagulls seemed impressed, as they kept coming back to see more).

My thanks to all those who were able to attend and support this event... it is always greatly appreciated. Cheers all.
