Hogmoor, Bordon

Two days on the Heathland which was a former MOD training site...

Due to covid the event had been spread out over a very wide area, nor had it been widely advitised so as not to attract to many people (sound familiar), and some demonstrators hadn't turned up or had been moved...

Sadly our day one was by a path not well signposted so we didn't see many people, was dog poo central and full of mozzies (as my face and hands testify)...

So we made the decision to become mobile on the Sunday which proved very successful... Day Two got to walk around whole event site which probably spread over around a mile, and had good chat with with Grandpa Will Lord, and lots more visitors, esoecially in the afternoon...

Herigeas Hundus looked great in the Germanic style woods, saw Mike (Spanner in group) (Greenwood Archery) only on way out as he'd been constantly busy, and Butser Ancient Farm Romans had good static display...

Lots of environmental groups had activities and displays... Dylans Ice-cream was there so that was worth every nasty, itchy bite...

Huge thank you to Morag, David, Stephie and Andy for being able to attend the event..

Its always good to hang out with great people, in what was, when we were moving around, a great site... Watch this space as its likely to be on again next year
