Arundel Castle 8/9 July 2023

Huge thanks to everyone who attended and supported the Medieval Festival at the castle this weekend.

Certainly some trying weather conditions, humidity, heat, thunder and lighting (very very frighting, no Galeleo) but we managed to go home with dry tents huzzah.

1600 visitors over the two days, which considering the unpredictable forecast and other local events was an impressive number.

Some truly outstanding arena displays ranging from impressive to hysterical... Excellent shooting by the archers, and brillient Capture the Flag.

Thank's to Pete Dukes for the combat images from Sunday. Huge thanks to Morag for providing an excellent spread food wise, and to everyone who kept my jug topped up.
