Spot of filming by Alex Gray (The History Guy on UTube) for his social media channels. Alex is doing a serious of videos on armouring up throughout history and has been chatting with various members in group for a while.

He approached Weald and Downland to do the filming, and asked Mark and Gavin to cover 4 seperate time periods.

I think this is a huge and well deserved recognition of all the hard work, many hours of research and making things that both Mark and Gavin have done, especially by someone who has a very large social media presence, and who has a long historical background. praise indeed. All in all a very successful day filming, photos, weather and a potential venue for the future.
