Three Nations Tournament, 5th - 6th July 2025
Arundel Castle
4 Nations Tournament Day 1
Really great start to the weekend wirh 1500 visitors on a day whose weather forecast was very unpredictable.
Not enough of the wet stuff to dampen spirits, and so there was a great mixture of great combat, hilarious Capture the Flag, and an impressive looking encampment for visitors to see.
Thanks to Sam M, George, Jane C and Steffi for contributing to today's photos, much appreciation to all.
Day 2
The forecast was all over the place again today, and the Weather Gods were certainly having a big laugh at our expense.
Whilst dramatic thunder and lightning flashes added to the atmosphere of the final Knights Tournament, the deluge at 4pm really put a dampener on everything, especially the canvas.
But despite the capricious weather conditions, another excellent day, with another 1500 visitors.
Plenty of outstanding combat and archery, and one of the best looking encampments we've had.
Thanks to all who dressed their tables and put up additional banners, all looked really good.
Huge thank you to Morag, assisted by Paul (returning to the living history world after a few years away), for some excellent food once again, and all those who provided additional shopping support.
Huge thank you to everyone who participated over the weekend, and supported the event, all very much appreciated.
