Stone Age to Norman, 11th - 12th April 2026

Bignor Roman Villa Saturday 11/Sunday 12 April Iron Age to Norman Day 1

Definitely a day of two half's, with grey/overcast/and drizzle linked by a very strong gusty wind to blue skies and sunshine.

38 visitors over the day, who didn't engage with us outside, although probably due to the wind, did interact with folk inside the villa.

Very relaxed day, and great to just chat with folk so huge thanks to all for that.

Day 2 Well Apollo certainly made more of an appearance today (sacrificing chickens last night clearly worked) but the cold wind was pretty relentless.

Around the same amount of visitors as yesterday who were more interactive with those inside the villa than those outside once again.
